They specialise in providing high-end accommodation both catered and self-catering. Premiere Neige prides itself on delivering personalized services to its guests from start to finish. This includes private chefs (in the catered chalets), dedicated chalet managers, and hosts. As well as a concierge service, who can assist with transfers, ski lessons, equipment rental and other needs.
The Luxury Chalets are typically well-appointed and provide a high level of comfort and amenities for guests to enjoy on a ski holiday. Guests staying with Premiere Neige typically have easy access to the slopes of Sainte-Foy. The ski resort is known for its uncrowded runs, excellent off-piste skiing and no long queues at the lifts. It is one of the reasons Sainte Foy Tarentaise is so appealing.
Sainte Foy Premiere Neige can also arrange exclusive ski experiences, including telemarking and heli-skiing. As well as organising winter activities such as dog sledding and traditional sledge descent for the families. While they do offer a luxury service, they like to ensure all members of a party, including children, have an enjoyable and stress-free experience. Making them the perfect chalet company in Sainte Foy Tarentaise for booking bespoke ski holidays.

Here is my review of the Peak Chalet and some of the services offered by Premiere Neige in Sainte Foy Tarentaise France
The Peak Chalet
The Peak Chalet where I stayed is Premiere Neige’s flagship luxury catered chalet in Sainte Foy Tarentaise. It has 8 bedroom suites that sleep 15+ and is available to rent exclusively for groups or families who are looking for that bit of luxury and style. This boutique Ski-in, Ski-out chalet is located in the heart of Sainte Foy. This means all you have to do is click into your boots and step out the door onto the slopes.
Peak is a very spacious, gorgeous 4 story chalet with panoramic views and on a clear day you can even see down the valley. The chalet is tastefully decorated and offers a large open-plan living room, log fire, balcony with hot tub, gym/studio, private spa with sauna, steam room, massage room, and a boot room. Even though it was spacious it still felt cosy and warm and I felt completely relaxed as soon as I walked through the chalet doors.
The Peak Chalet Sainte Foy Tarentaise has its own dedicated chalet manager, hosts and private chef. Nothing was too much for the chalet team and they would go out of their way to help with anything that I needed. While it is a Sunday to Sunday turnaround, the catered chalet offers 5 nights of catering. This is because of working hours under French law.
My favourite part of the day was coming back to the chalet and having the host serve me premium wine and champagne while sitting by the log fire or taking in the stunning views from the balcony.

Food Provided
One of the things that the Premiere Neige Peak prides itself on is its food and service throughout all meals. The catered chalet provided a private chef who brought his own unique flair and style to create seasonal menus to surprise and delight us. If you are coming with family, the chef can even create the kid’s dinners early on request. Meaning the parents can sit back and relax with the other adults, while the kids can play.
Breakfast, afternoon tea with cakes, canapés with bubbles and a 4 course gourmet dinner with wine is provided for 5 days of the stay. All meals can be tailored in consideration of any dietary requirements. However, best to let them know in advance, as some speciality products take a little longer to order in the mountains.
Our main chef was Luke a professional chef with loads of experience and an extensive knowledge of food. All his food always looked like a piece of artwork and tasted delicious. He was also a nice person who was always happy to explain the food and how the dishes were made.

The Peak Chalet Facilities
The open living area is situated on the top floor of the Peak with an open fire, kitchen, dining and seating area. As well as a balcony with a hot tub (popular with guests) and a seating area that takes in amazing panoramic views from the chalet. It is the main hub of the chalet and where all the meals are served including the canapés and bubbles.
All levels had underfloor heating, which to be honest felt amazing under my feet in the morning. Located on the ground level is a private gym which can be easily changed into a workout studio.
The Peak is also equipped with its own spa, a sauna, a steam room and a private massage/treatment room on the lower level, the perfect spot for relaxing aching muscles. As well as a boot room with a storage area for your helmet, skis and boards with boot heaters.
The Peak Chalet Bedrooms
There are 8 bedrooms spread across three levels of the Peak that sleeps 15+ people. All rooms are generous in size and comfortable with their own ensuite bathroom. As well as flat-screen TV’s and large comfortable beds. Some even have sofas that can be made into beds.
My room was situated on the ground floor of the chalet and had two balconies with stunning views of the Sainte Foy Tarentaise village and the mountain range in the distance. It was large in size and could easily fit a small family in there. The bathroom had a separate bath and shower, as well as two sinks. It was equipped with hair dryers, bathrobes and slippers.

Book your winter activities with Premiere Neige
Apart from skiing and snowboarding, Premiere Neige can also arrange winter activities for their guests while on their ski holiday. Not only for Sainte Foy-Tarentais but also for the neighbouring resorts of La Rosiere, Bourge St Maurice, Tignes and Val d’Isere.
Some of these activities include dog sledding, snowshoeing, first tracks with the ski patrol, and behind the scenes with the piste-basher in Sainte Foy. In other resorts, you have things like the luge in La Rosiere, ice driving on Tignes Le Lac and paragliding in Les Arcs.
The team at Premiere Neige can book these activities ahead of your ski trip to Sainte Foy. All you have to do is turn up and enjoy your time in the French Alps. If you are not skiing and want to enjoy the activities, ask the team about the pedestrian ski pass.

Ski hire in Sainte Foy with Premiere Neige
Premiere Neige has partnered up with Sainte Foy Sports to make it convenient for guests to hire their ski equipment in advance. This means your skis, poles, snowboard etc will be ready for you upon arrival to the resort.

Sainte Foy Sports Skiset is conveniently located less than a 5-minute walk from the Peak Chalet in the centre of the resort. As well as ski hire the shop also stocks a number of top-quality ski brands like Peak Performance and Dynastar.
The ski rental shop is open 7 days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Book Premiere Neige ski lessons and guides
For a small resort, Sainte Foy has a good selection of ski schools and independent guides and instructors. They can be booked for private or group ski lessons, off-piste skiing, telemarking or even heliskiing.
One of the guests in the Peak Chalet had a ski lesson with Snocool and a couple of the guests went telemarking with Evolution 2. The Premiere Neige Team can help with pre-booking your lessons and guides for your ski holiday before you arrive or while you are in the resort.
Massage after a fun day of skiing
Book a private massage or treatment for you or your group in the comfort of your chalet or apartment with Massage Me. One of Première Neige’s partners used Sainte Foy, who are an experienced team of therapists who specialise in a range of treatments.
A massage is great for smoothing out any aches and pains after a hard day of skiing or snowboarding. The Peak Chalet had its own private massage room located downstairs next to the sauna and steam room. I felt so relaxed and energized after both of my massages.
You can book your treatment in advance with Massage Me, once you have booked your chalet.

Where to eat in Sainte Foy on non-catering days
While the Premiere Neige chef would love to cook for their guests every night they can’t. One they need a break and two there are restricted working hours under French law.
Here are a couple of suggestions for where to eat in Sainte Foy Tarentaise on non-catering days. During peak season it is highly recommended to make a reservation even before you leave for your holiday. This is due to there being only a handful of restaurants available in the village resort.
Le Saint Germain
One of the places I suggest having dinner at is Le Saint Germain, a popular wine bar and restaurant. It also has a little shop inside that sells locally made products that you can buy and take back with you.
You can’t go past the cheese fondue or the cheese and mushroom fondue at Le Saint Germain it’s mouthwatering. As soon as you book your accommodation, get the team to book the restaurant for you as it books out in the winter season.
La Maison á Colonnes
Not too far away from the Peak Chalet is La Maison á Colonnes an 18th-century farmhouse converted into a restaurant. It is conveniently located near the TSD Grand Plan chairlift on the Les Charmettes blue slope.
They serve traditional French food like cheese and pasta dishes, as well as burgers. They also have vegetarian options. I suggest the box of cheese for one (Jambon de Montagne). La Maison á Colonnes is open for lunch and dinner.

Transport to Premiere Neige France
Airport for Sainte Foy
There are 4 airports that you can fly into to get to Sainte Foy from London. Geneva, Chambéry, Grenoble or Lyon, however, I think the best option is Geneva as you have a larger selection of flights. Then it is a three-hour transfer from the airport to Sainte-Foy via car.
Save money instantly on airport parking in the UK online before flying with purpleparking.
Snow Train to Sainte-Foy
The closest train station to Sainte-Foy Tarentaise is Bourg St Maurice, which is roughly 12 km away. From there it is just a short transfer from there to Saint Foy. Guests coming from London can get the Eurostar snow train directly to Bourg St Maurice.
The snow train will operate from mid-December 2023 to early February 2024 for the winter season. It will depart from London St Pancras every Saturday to Bourg Saint Maurice and return every Sunday. It is a great way to travel if you are looking for sustainable travel.
Driving to Sainte Foy
Guest who decide to drive to Sainte-Foy, Premiere Neige offers private parking at its chalets. If you are driving from the UK, make sure to have a Swiss vignette to drive on the Swiss motorway to France and snow chains.

Transfers to and from Sainte Foy
Transfer from the airports
Transfers can easily be arranged by the concierge team, for those who are flying or going by train with one of their local partners for an additional fee. It is recommended though once you have confirmed your accommodation, book your transfer to avoid disappointment. This is because transfers can be limited, especially in peak season like NYE week.
I had door to door private transfer to the Peak Chalet, which was nice. While you can hire a car to drive the 3 hours, a transfer is much easier and you don’t have to worry about where to go.
Inter-resort transfers
If you want to take advantage of the discounts available for Les Arcs, Tignes, Val d’Isère, and La Rosière with Sainte Foy 6 day pass. The concierge service can also arrange inter-resort transfers to their guests for a fee.
Helicopter Transfers
If you want to splash all out and have a once in a lifetime experience, then Premiere Neige can organise a helicopter transfer. It is also a fantastic way to see the Alps from above. Not to mention it is the fastest way to get to Sainte-Foy.

Why I would stay in the Peak Chalet again
The Peak was definitely a charming and luxurious chalet and one of the nicest that I have stayed in. The service by the Premiere team, chalet manager Michael, chalet host Christine and the chef Luke were super hospitable and of high standard. The team went beyond and above to make sure that I had an enjoyable ski holiday.
You can understand why the company has been going for over 20 years and has repeat guests coming back every year. Without a doubt Peak Chalet is one of the best in Sainte Foy Tarentaise and one I would not hesitate to go back and stay again.
