The Lodge – Champéry by Mrs Miggins
Not only does it have everything you want from a luxury ski chalet apartment but it has the Dents du Midi & Dents Blanches as your backdrop. It is also in the prime position, a 1-minute walk to the Télépherique Champéry – Croix-de-Culet and to the supermarket.
After staying in the Champery Ski Resort during winter, I was looking forward to returning in Summer and seeing what the postcard
I was also looking forward to staying in a luxury chalet and sitting in that private jacuzzi. While taking everything around me for a few days.

Apartment Description
Lodge 3 at The Lodge Champéry by Mrs Miggins is a luxurious elegant, non-smoking apartment. Which is conveniently located in the middle of Champéry, very close to the Palladium Sports Center.
This spacious and comfortable ground-floor apartment is spread across an area of 150 m2. It is large enough for six persons (maximum seven). There is so much room that even at its full capacity, you would not be tripping over anyone.
The apartment included three double bedrooms, two bathrooms, one living room with a fireplace, and a sofa bed for two persons (available on request). As a well-equipped kitchen, a private Jacuzzi, and a lush, green garden (when it’s not snowing ).
Outside there is a fully equipped BBQ and outdoor setting to take advantage of those views.
The apartment receives plenty of daylight and stands out for its modern and tastefully-designed interiors. The stunning views of the majestic snowy peaks and the quietude of the region make this a perfect Swiss mountain holiday destination for either summer or winter.
Guests have access to a number of amenities such as flat screen television in every bedroom and living room. DVD player, telephone/free Wi-Fi, a private laundry, and plenty of large cupboards to safely store their belongings.
It is no wonder that The Lodge Champéry by Mrs. Miggins is the proud recipient of ‘The Luxury Travel Guide 2017’ award.
Enjoy the hot tub after a hard day of adventure activities
My favourite part of The Lodge Champéry by Mrs Miggins luxury ski Chalet was the private jacuzzi. It had the most incredible views looking up at the mountains and I could have easily stayed in it all day.
Chalet Description
The Lodge Champéry by Mrs Miggins is a blissful and picturesque luxury Chalet located within one of the largest and most well-known ski area in the Alps, Portes du Soleil. It comprises of 7 apartments under the Mrs Miggins management with most of them offering gorgeous views of the Dents du Midi and Dents Blanches mountain ranges.
The luxurious apartments at The Lodge are a great place to begin your unforgettable Swiss mountain adventure in either winter or summer. Replete with wonderful indoor amenities (like ping pong room), home-cooked meals, and excellent outdoor sports facilities such as mountain biking and summer hiking, skiing with friends and family, etc.,
Mrs. Miggins takes away the stress of routine tasks, giving you the opportunity to treasure each moment of your Swiss holiday in Champery.

The team at Mrs Miggins ensures that you are nicely looked after during your stay at the Lodge. By offering a variety of thoughtful services before, during and after your stay with them. From Artisanal apreo platter being delivered to your apartment in the afternoon, shopping being ordered, organising child care or a private message & beauty session.
If there is anything that you require, all you have to do is email the Mrs Miggins team and they will help to organise it for you.
Evening Meal Deliveries
But if there’s one option that is ideal for guests and I recommend, it is the ‘Evening Meal Deliveries’ service. It is perfect for those evenings when you want nothing more than to stay in. Where you can relax in the jacuzzi with a glass of wine. It is a freshly prepared, made-to-order meal (that only needs reheating), delivered to your doorstep.
And if you’re craving hot soups or lip-smacking desserts, you can even choose from their ‘Menu Additions Delivery Service’ to satisfy your taste buds.
I had an a la carte meal for two organised by Mrs Miggins from Le Nord Cafe restaurant, it was so delicious that I could have easily had it every night.
Other Chalets
If you like the look of apartment 3 at The Lodge – Champéry by Mrs Miggins and you do not have 6-7 people or simply want a smaller chalet, you don’t have to worry because you can choose one of the other 6 apartments in the Lodge.
Mrs Miggins also manages other luxury chalet apartments called Les Rahâs in Grimentz, which also has 7 apartments. All luxury chalet apartments have varying amenities but they all still offer the same level of high standard service.

- Wifi: Yes and it is strong in areas of the chalet and apartment, especially in the rooms
- Breakfast: It is an apartment, so you have your own kitchen. However, daily deliveries of fresh bread and pastries can be arranged at a price.
Location of The Lodge – Champéry
Conveniently located not even 5 minutes walk from the main gondola Télépherique Champéry – Croix-de-Culet and at the foot of the Dents du Midi & Dents Blanches The Lodge – Champéry by Mrs Miggins is at one of the finest locations in the village resort.
Airport
The closest international airport is Geneva Airport and the best way to get to Champéry Ski Resort is either via transfer or car. Making it super easy to get to and great if you want to go for a weekend trip.
If you don’t want to hire a car it is not a problem because one of the additional services that Mrs Miggins offer is a Transport Service. They can arrange for a taxi for you that can bring you to the door. However, you must contact them beforehand at least a couple of days to arrange this service.
There is another airport that is even closer than Geneva, Sion Airport. However, only flights from Swiss Air go there and they are limited.
Would I recommend this Luxury Chalet Champery
If you are looking for a traditional Swiss chalet apartment, where you feel like you are in a home with luxury, with amazing food at your service, and stunning views of the Swiss mountains then this is the place for you. I loved everything about it and the fact that it felt more like a home than accommodation, it was just a shame that I was there only two nights.
The bed was super comfy, the rooms were very spacious the wifi was strong (something I live on as a blogger) and I had the best private Jacuzzi, what more do you want in a luxury ski Chalet Switzerland. Everything has definitely been thought of when creating this luxury apartment. It is a great place to stay with a group of friends or with a family and contains everything you would need for that perfect ski or hiking trip.

Top Tips for staying at Luxury Chalet Champery
- If you are skiing, there is a room downstairs inside where you can leave your skis and equipment.
- There is a little courtesy train that services the village. It goes from the main gondola the Télépherique Champéry – Croix-de-Culet to the centre of town. Where the shops and restaurants are based.
- The main supermarket is only about 100 meters away from the Chalet. So I suggest taking advantage of purchasing fresh local produce.
- If you are want to eat out one night, try the Pizzeria- Bar à Vins L’Alta in the village. It has a great selection of wine, fresh food and stunning views of the mountains.
The Multi Pass for Les Portes du Soleil
How about getting a Multi Pass during your stay? I used a Multi Pass across the Portes Du Soleil during my summer trip to try out the activities on offer. It is a card that you can use for various activities with unlimited access to more than 60 activities in the 12 resorts across Switzerland and France.
Not to mention discounts as well on other services and businesses. You never run out of things to do.
It is ideal for those who want to make the most of the mountains without spending too much money. It is great for families and groups. Some of the activities include access to outdoor swimming pools, cable cars, tennis courts, and mini golf. The best place to get a Multi Pass is at the ski lift ticket offices.
The Multi Pass card is offered to all the visitors who are staying in the Swiss side of the Portes du Soleil. For one night or more, in the Region Dents du Midi.

This looks like a beautiful place to go for the summer. You say the hot tub is a great way to unwind after a day of activities, but I am not sure if we would ever get out.
You guys would love it here as a hiking base. Hike in the day and then come back and relax in the afternoon 🙂

I love the name Mrs Miggins, it makes it sound so cosy and perfect for a stay in Switzerland! However, it’s very luxurious, and you had me at the private tub, those views are incredible! The food choices look delicious too, and the interior is chic and very inviting.
It was so very nice and relaxing. I could of sat there for days writing and catching up on walk and going for a ski or hike for a break.

I would be very tempted just to stay in the chalet all day and forget the skiing or hiking! The jacuzzi is the star of the show, especially with those views. I also agree that strong and constant WiFi is important and it’s good Mrs Miggins has this.
My husband came and meet me the 2nd night and we just stayed in and enjoyed the apartment instead of heading out. It was so a nice and relaxing place.
Wow, what a stunning property- in both summer and winter, the chalet is absolutely breathtaking! With the privacy of an apartment but the convenience of a resort, Mrs. Miggins seems like the perfect balance of it all! If I ever make it back to Switzerland, I’ll be headed straight here!

The location of the Chalet Champery looks surreal indeed with a backdrop of mountains. We are in awe of the private jacuzzi, what a great way to relax with all those stunning views of the lush green and the Alps. Good to know that there are facilities for indoor as well as outdoor sports facilities, it will definitely make for a perfect vacation.
I had so much fun in this apartment, i really didn’t want to leave. I could have sat there for weeks taking it all in.
Oh my gosh this looks incredible! I’ve never stayed in a luxury ski chalet before – even without the snow, it looks beautiful! The setting of this place is absolutely perfect. There’s a good chance I’d be spending most of my time in the jacuzzi. I think it’s fabulous they offer evening meal deliveries – looks delicious and of course very convenient!
I spent so much time in that Jacuzzi that I turend into a prune 🙂 literally. It is a great place that is for sure and I highly recommend it.

This luxury ski Chalet in Switzerland is a blessing for ski lovers and summer hikers as well. I think is a great opportunity to go and stay there in summer and winter as well. In winter, is great to stay outside in that hot jacuzzy just looking at the Alps. I did it once in Austria, in the Zillertal Valley, and ever since I’ve fallen in love with this kind of experience.
Oh I need to look up Zillertal Valley and check it out, sounds like a dream of a place.
Absolutely stunning. Thank you for giving the Lodge a visit during the summer months. It was great to see things in addition to snow covered mountains and skiing. I would have to indulge in the evening delivered meal service, and of course, the jacuzzi. Great to know that they provide child care service as well. We will definitely put the chalet on our “Places to Stay” list for a visit.

Oh my gosh. This place looks absolutely amazing. My husband was just saying to me that he wants to get to Switzerland and spend time in the Alps. If this lodge doesn’t’ scream “romantic getaway” I don’t know what does! I would love to sip wine in that hot tub, especially after having a meal that has been delivered right to my door!
Champery and the lodge are both beautiful places and I highly recommend them and not just because I was there working. I fell in love with the place the first time I went there skiing and I have been back and too my husband who also loves it.

Wow, wow and wow!! I think it actually looks more stunning in the summer, I am not a skier so would prefer to visit when it is green and I can hike instead of ski, but still enjoy the private jacuzzi and all that delicious food without worrying about falling in the snow!
